Outbound di malang. Discipline is the most important thing to teach. How can we provide the discipline that makes a difference? Should we start instilling discipline. Discipline is a form of love. There are ways to discipline children with dignity that allows them to still feel good about themselves, to continue to be pleased with their performance, but also need to teach that they’ve made a mistake and should be responsible.

Often we encounter some students are not accustomed to discipline, so when you discipline them, they feel that is not the norm. Their reaction can be violent or disrespectful. But that’s the only thing they know, their reactions are normal reactions to abnormal situations. We have to be careful about how we provide discipline for those who may not be ready for it. Differences within the norm could be the cause.

At any time a student came to my office with his mother. He presented a problem, he does not want to do homework and other things. Obviously, he does not show much respect for the way he treats his mother, the way she talked to him. I asked her if I could speak to her own two. Finally I spoke to him about my own life that grows with a single parent and how we can sometimes forget how fortunate we still have people in our lives. We are angry about people who are not there. I can see this kis get angry because her father was not there for her and then I told him, “Think about the people who are there for you”.

This is the story of a boy who would play basketball with me and the other teachers in the evening. If we have events on  weekends, we would invite him and help him get there. So I said , ” I do not think it’s fair that you treat your mother in that way and then we take you to the event and gave special treatment. Parents is very important.”

He was homeless, so I have to be very careful and loving the way I presented to him. But I know this will be one of the only pictures of me to send a message to these young people, because if the mother’s day, what would prompt her professor, or someone who says, “Hey, you’re gonna lose your scholarship”? I do not want him to be adult professional and then lose what it has because of the way he treated people.

Speed Action Game

Kompetisi antar tim dalam kegiatan training sering memberi dampak semangat untuk berprestasi. Berlomba menjadi yang terbaik untuk membuktikan tim yang unggul menjadi tujuan utama tim dalam setiap materi tantangan tim. Speed action game adalah materi tantangan kompetisi yang sering kami berikan dalam setiap program pelatihan teambuilding.

Materi tantangan

Dalam tantangan ini setiap tim mendapatkan 5 spon (scotch brite). Tim berlomba mengisi botol yang mempunyai mulut kecil dengan air dari perasan air yang berada dalam spon. Spon harus dicelupkan dalam bak air kemudian di estafetkan ke masing masing anggota tim. Sebagai pemenang adalah tim yang berhasil terlebih dahulu memasukkan air terbanyak dalam botol.

Tujuan

Meningkatkan semangat berprestasi dengan taktik dan strategi dalam tim dengan mengelola sumberdaya yang terbatas dan waktu yang singkat.

Cara Kompetisi

Pelatih menyediakan beberapa beberapa gentong bak penampung air sebagai sumber sumber utama air. Setelah itu masing masing tim berbaris dan mendapatkan perlengkapan spon masing masing 5 tiap timnya. Botol yang mulutnya kecil disiapkan sesuai dengan jumlah tim yang berkompetisi. Kegunaan botol adalah untuk menampung air yang diambil masing masing tim dengan cara estafet. Setelah semua siap dan waktu dinyatakan muali, masing masing tim bermain sesuai dengan taktik dan strategi bagaimana mengambil air dengan spon dan mengestafetkan dari start ke botol yang disediakan.

Tantangan ini waktunya hanya 5 menit. Saat waktu 5 menit permainan selesai, biasanya pelatih meniup peluit sebagai tanda berakhirnya tantangan. Tanda peluit selesai maka seluruh aktivitas harus dihentikan. Dan jika ada tim yang masih melakukan aktivitas terutama memeras spon di botol tentu akan mendapatkan pengurangan point. Setelah itu para pelatih mengukur ketinggian air yang ada di dalam botol.

Sebagai catatan tambahan, saat waktu 5 menit yang disediakan ternnyata ada tim yang sudah selesai memenuhi botol, maka air dalam botol pertama yang sudah penuh airnya dibuang dan mulai diisi lagi sampai batas waktu 5 menit habis. Nah setelah menghitung dan mengukur tentu akan ditemukan siapa yang terbanyak mengumpulkan air dan pemenangnya.

Pembahasan

Dalam rutinitas pekerjaan sehari hari, karyawan sering menghadapi keterbatasan sumber daya untuk melakukan pekerjaan, tetapi waktu yang tersedia juga terbatas. Kecepatan reaksi dalam menangani masalah dan kerjasama tim yang handal tentu menjadi kebutuhan perusahaan untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan. Tidak saling menyalahkan dan bekerja sesuai dengan tugas dan tanggunjawab dalam satu kesatuan yang tak terpisahkan tentu menjadi solusi tim yang berprestasi.

Membentu tim yang hebat memerlukan visi yang jelas. Tujuan yang jelas dan dipahami oleh anggota timtentu akan mempermudah pencapaian tujuan. Semoga materi tantangan speed action ini bisa menjadi pembelajaran yang positif dalam kegiatan training yang difasiliasi dengan baik dan profesional.
